Soundtracks are easily the most important part of horror films. As a long time fan of both movie scores and horror, I recall music more easily than visuals. The bathroom scene in Psycho is nothing without the shrill, squeaking violins that make the scene so iconic. And what would Halloween be without John Carpenter’s touch?
