Welcome to June!
May was chaotic and it doesn’t seem that June will be any less so– but it’s the best kind of chaos imaginable. New things are being born of this chaos, like our new location at 14th & P, the launch of our web store, and our new “roommate” Stumptown, whose DC training facility is located inside the Factory. Newness isn’t exclusive to us: Northeast DC is blossoming with the addition of new businesses (and our new neighbors, the Angelika Film Center Pop-Up), new chefs are on the rise, and newbies to the city are becoming district residents.
With our trek into new and virtual endeavors, June’s playlist just had to be a bit more electronic. Not techno, per se, just a bit more digitally refined. Tradition is important to us for sure: we will always uphold the standards that have made Dolcezza synonymous with quality and imagination. We cherish the tradition of playing with our food, because it means creating something new or something better, whether it’s a new flavor for this year’s strawberry season, or the best lemon opal basil sorbetto yet; or even new events at the factory that establish an entirely new relationship between yourselves and DC food.
Enough talking, let’s get to dancing.
