We had a potluck. Or rather, we hosted a potluck with the good food awards and invited our friends. And by friends, we mean farmers, artisans, chefs, people with a general affinity for eating, and those with good ideas for improving relationships.
The relationships in question are those between farmers, artisans and chefs. How do small farms and small businesses sustain themselves and sustain each other? What are the biggest risks faced when creating good, whole food that isn’t a food product? This night was a great opportunity to get the discussion going, and lay groundwork for future dinner discussions, too.
