we woke up @ 2:30am to pick up amiga @correaelisa we woke up @ 2:30am to pick up amiga @correaelisa @ 3:30 so we could get to @agriberryfarm by 5:30 and watch the sunrise through the fields of mist. it was magic and we can’t stop spacing out on these berries. local food is so much more than just food .. it is relationships, stories, families, generations, connections .. for us there is no other way to do it, somehow that feeling of connection to the land, people and to the past just feels right. anne, chuck, susan, colleen, pierson & the whole lot @agriberryfarm are not just farmers we buy our ingredients from, they are stewards of the land taking care of the soil, the plants, the people, the critters, the berries, the bugs .. & somehow all of that attention & energy translates into the food we make for our community here in & around our DC shops. pretty fuck’n brilliant to be a part of this chain 🖤 #dolcezzagelato #agriberryfarm #blackberries #prettyfucknbrilliant
