heirloom neck pumpkins are just now being harvested by our amish dairy farmer, omar beiler of roam dairy, in lancaster, pa. his son, jr. grows over 2,000 lbs for us, which we roast hard to make our pumpkin spice gelato and our homemade pumpkin syrup for the pumpkin spice latte and pumpkin spice chai.

these are the ancestors of the butternut squash and very difficult to find, even in the local farmer circuit. i always remember my irish brother zach lester @treeandleafgarden saying how the amish are the keepers of the heirloom seeds like no other. it’s good to run with the old world folks .. close to the land .. u can have your digital AI malarkey .. it’s very clear where that’s all going. we’ll be with our farmers out on the land .. growing & holding the good shit. siempre ♾️
