WBJ: New restaurant roundup: The Partisan, 2 new Dolcezzas, Paladar Latin Kitchen and more

Double Dolcezza: Though the local gelato company’s Northeast D.C. factory  technically opened last December, the facility’s front-of-the-house coffee lab and tasting room will open to members of the public Friday, March 21. The coffee lab will offer coffees from Portland, Ore.-based Stumptown Coffee Roasters along with tastes of gelato. The lab will be open Tuesday through Thursday from 1-4 p.m., Friday from noon-5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon-7 p.m.

That’s not the only new spot the Dolcezza folks have up their sleeve, however. OwnersRobb Duncan and Violeta Edelman also signed a lease for a shop in Logan Circle, in the former Mid-City Deli space at 1418 14th St. NW. It’ll be their fifth retail location, after spots in Georgetown, Dupont Circle, Fairfax and Bethesda Row.
